I love to vlog! It all started in middle school with my childhood best friend and I vlogging our track meets. I quickly fell in love with the activity and began creating videos of all different kinds. I simultaneously decided to create a channel dedicated to my running career, MariahRuns, which has since been archived to honor my high school track and field and cross country career. Today, I like to make vlogs of just about anything, though I have been trying to narrow my channel down to a specific genre. (perhaps it can be dedicated to my career hehe.)

Observing the Moon
In this vlog, I take you through my process of using my telescope, named Diana, and finding the moon! I was super excited because I had just gotten the telescope for my 18th birthday and had been trying for a while to calibrate it. (and I did!) 10 Crazy Facts About Jupiter
As a child, I naturally gravitated toward Jupiter because it was the biggest planet (and I was also obsessed with Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity by Gustav Holst), and it has been my favorite ever since. Of course, I love ALL of the planets, just some more than others. In this video, I share some of my favorite facts about Jupiter :)

Observing the Pink Supermoon
Since accomplishing my successful observation of the moon with my telescope, Diana, I decided to vlog yet another excursion. Here, I share my findings of what Native Americans have termed a Pink Supermoon-- it's important to note that 'pink' isn't referring to the color of the moon, but rather the wildflowers of the moss-pink. that begin to bloom in April. The Pink Moon is the first full moon following the spring equinox, signifying the beginning of a new season

QuestBridge Scholarship to Vassar College
Though this video isn't astronomy-related, it does tell the story of my finding out that I was not only attending college but that I received a full scholarship to a rather prestigious school. This video captures a pivotal moment in my life-- without this scholarship, I would not be where I am today.
